7-3-09 Solomons Island

Yesterday my neighbor Benton and I launched at 6:30 am. We started searching for white perch at the same spots that Ernie and I had found Friday. The tide was due to be low in two hours. We did not do well through the remainder of the falling tide. We caught one here and there but no concentrations of fish. We really did not find fish until two hours before we left at 11:30.am. The largest fish were caught one hundred yards from the launch ramp. The fish ranged from eight to ten and one half inches with a final count of twenty five.

The starting time was not my choice. Yes, I used the new ramp. Once again, there was only one trailor in the lot!
