7-22-07 Solomons Island

Mo and I launched at 5:30 am. There was no air stirring and the river was like a sheet of green glass. We went immediately to Mo's cove. As the sun began to show we caught a croaker followed by two small rockfish and a flounder. We were beginning to wonder about the white perch. When we began to catch white perch they were mostly quality fish but scattered. There was no concentration of perch. We quit at 9:30 am when the tide was completely out. I have not filleted yet but the final count will probably be thirty fish with twenty five of them nine plus inches.
