manhattan pizza

PIZZA -

does anybody like this joint up there by kentucky fried??

have never gone in but i am thinking about it

BAGEL-

the bagel shop is one i  that was less than impressed with
maybe it was an off day
otherwise somebody needs to bring them a real new york bagel so that they know what they are shooting for

GAS AND SUNDRIES-

the 2 for 2.50 quart gatorades at sunoco have nursed me through many a hot afternoon mega session
i had four between noon and six yesterday
( can you spell diabetes? ) what are a few hundred grams of sugar b/t friends...
that sunoco is fair any never crowded when i am around

BURGERS-

five guys can leave a heavyweight like me stuffed and belching burger/fry/soda chum.
enjoy a solid burger and a  lunch bag of fries:
the regular fry order could feed two adults and two young ones
gotta love a joint where a standard order is a one way ticket to the cardiologist
----seems to lose a little of that first time zip every time i go in tho....
good help, fresh food and different
a cut above for a $10 plate

Re: manhattan pizza

Manhattan is good....I like their marinated chicken salad

Bagel place....I don't go there much

The Sunoco has good drink specials

5 Guys is great but I only go once every 3-4 months

The place I like is the Rumi Cafe (near 5 guys)...great coffee and some neat sandwiches but it's not cheap. Sam, the owner, is a great guy. I get my 4 shot espresso there.

Try Powerade Zero....no sugar and does the quenching trick....

Re: manhattan pizza

We are looking for a quality bagel establishment out here, but there have not been any strong candidates.

I don't drink Powerade...I am a Gator...I drink Gatorade! lol

5-Guys-Burgers-Fries-Angioplasty! Quite the one-stop-shop! haha

I recommend PotBelly's - They offer a good sandwich for $4.50 - The Wreck is what it is called.

If it were easy, they'd call it catching!

Re: manhattan pizza

The Grilled Chicken Salad at Manhattan Pizza is HUGE and excellent!

Also, on the other side, you can try Carolina Bros. BBQ. It's not as good as Curly's but it will do. Plus, Curly hasn't opened up his road stand yet.

Re: manhattan pizza

The wreck is really good!
I am all about the gatorade.
Manhattan is good.
Bagel shop is good!
Fudruckers is good, but unhealthy...
Try Panera they have a really gooooood turkey sandwich and its under 5 and healthy!

Re: manhattan pizza

Ha I used to get the same Gatorade two'fer at Sunoco when I fished those lakes alot. I second Coz's recommendation on Potbelly's. I've rolled in there many a time stinking like fish for a sammy and bag o chips...gotta love post-fishing snackage.

The bagels themselves aren't even in the same league as a NY or NJ bagel. However, toasted and made into a turkey, egg white and cheese sandwich.... Yum.

Re: manhattan pizza

Potbelly's is awesome. Do yourself a favor and get the hot peppers on your next sub.

Also, you MUST try their cookies. I would suggest the sugar cookies.
