Not posted much recently as Ive skunked out for like the last 2 weeks no matter where or when I fished. Its been really disappointing to say the least.

This morning though with a small amount of time I hit Heron pond (I love that pond maybe because I know it so well ?)

fished for 45 mins ish, caught 2 healthy bass around 1 1/2 lbs each and one rather large catfish must have been 4 lbs or so (no scales or camera with me this am) with my last cast. Damn catfish 'bit' me while I was trying to get the hook out and wouldnt let go , like really wouldnt let go not even when I got him back into the water. I think it was trying to get revenge for me hooking it because I figure my thumb was attached to its mouth for at least as long as it was attached to my line.

Got my thumb covered in antiseptic and wrapped in a bandaid right now as the damn thing graze cut me quite badly
