My youngest brother had a concert on the dock at Ashburn lake so my other brother and me took the boat out to fish and listen to him play. I hooked a 2lb 3oz (pic to come when I have enough time to load it up), and two small bass. My brother had two crappie and a bluegill. I lost a really nice one, but the experience was great..this is how it went...
"Taylor pull in your line I'm gonna get us closer to this bush."
"ok."Hes responded
"I bet there is fish right under the overhang of that bush." I said.
So I casted there and the second it hit the water, it was engulfed, but I didn't set the hook hard enough and on the second jump it popped off. It was a really nice fish! I did not catch it but it was a lot of fun trying! We saw bigjeffie leaving when we were leaving...nice meeting you!
