Beech / Cedar and Heron 5/11

Spent about an hour at both Beech and Cedar caught nothing at all. Stopped off at my favorite and  local haunt Heron , 4 bass in 20 mins none of them anything to write home about though.

Still I love being out there , really am going to miss fishing in Ashburn when I move to my new house in Aldie at the end of August. I doubt  if there is anywhere around there that has as good and pleasant fishing as here in Ashburn though

Therein lies the challenge. Look for some new haunts to take advantage of. You never know what little body of water will hold that elusive monster bass!

If it were easy, they'd call it catching!

Re: Beech / Cedar and Heron 5/11

Caught three at Cedar in about an hour until the rumble chased me away. One was short, one was about a pound ant the third maybe 1.5 pounds.

The 3rd one was interesting. I was using a pearl wacky worm and made a medium cast. I then showed Bill O'Connor my Josh made rod when the rod started jerking. I looked at Bill thinking he was yanking on it but it was a feisty fish!!  tongue

Just goes to show that sometimes they want a very slow presentation!

Time to go fishin' again!
