abc sat a.m.

the fish were shallow and dopey at alder.
in one of those moods where the idle around and ignore bait
was able to get a few keepers to bite.

went to cedar, where the pace was less than frantic as well

maybe this evening will perk them up.

have not personally seen a really good bite since before the last cold front
