Fletcher's Shad Fishing, 4-18-09
No one else could go to Fletcher's after the date was changed, because of the weather. So me, my dad and my brother met up with Bob Forbes. Bob Forbes knows what he is doing and set us up with a nice spot a little before 7 on the rocks. We fished from the bank which turned out to be very nice! We threw shad darts and shad spoons. My dad had 8, Taylor had 14 and I had 25. High tide was at 10 am and I only had 3 more fish after 9 30 am. We left at 12. We are planning to go back down with Bob again here soon! Shad are very hard fighters!!!!
Pics (we were all separated by boulders so these are mostly my fish)....

Very cool....we were just down from you trying to catch stripers and big blue cats. You guys did well. Some of the reports I got were not as good as you headed down river.....
Time to go fishin' again!
