Potomac River Report - 041709

I took the day off and went fishing with a buddy on the Potomac. We launched out of Leesylvania and hit a few spots on both the VA and MD side of the river. We had a fairly productive day catching about 20 bass. Our biggest 5 weighed approximately 12lbs. Here are a couple of pictures. My biggest was this long bass that tipped the scales at 2lbs 12oz.

Rob had these two nice bass with one going 2lb 13oz and the other going 2lb 1oz.

Good times and tight lines!

Nice going Patrick! Was the bite steady or did you get a rush of bites around 11:30 AM?

Time to go fishin' again!

The bite was steady from launch (7am) to about 1130am and then it died down significantly. Moving water was key.
