Stopped out at Cedar for a couple hours of fishing after Easter dinner. The water seemed really blue, I guess they've been adding some kind of treatment or dye. It was really windy and post-fronty bluebird so i wasn't expecting much action. I was pleasantly surprised to catch about a dozen small largemouth while I was out, the largest about a pound and a half. Most bites came well off the shore where they were grouped up, especially around the bubbling aerator things. Most came on a wacky-rigged senko, a couple on a finesse worm n jighead. Saw a couple beds along the shore, maybe crappie? This lake is a pleasure to fish in the spring when the grass isn't too thick, I hope they're able to treat it a bit better this year so we can enjoy it during the summer too.
