Cedar Report - 4-3-09

I hit up Cedar today around 300 for a nice Friday afternoon of fishing. The fishing started slow, but picked up as the weather started to turn for the worse.

I ended up with 8 in Cedar including one that went about 1.5lbs.

Here are some pics...

I also stopped by Beech and landed two dinks. I even poked my head over to Alder and landed a single dink there.

11 Fish - Let's call it a tie Curly!

If it were easy, they'd call it catching!

I never have much confidence in throwing bright color cranks. I always end up buying natural colors but I guess I need to give them a chance.

I was inspired by Ernie's use of the Minus-1 and that is my favorite color. It is great on the Potomac. It started slow, but the bite was phenominal between 4-5.

The great thing about these baits is that they are only $2.99-$3.99. I stockpile them.
