cedar 3/16

slow day.
1 bass on a texas 4" senko, green.

no takers on the jigs.
active frogs, bait, and birdlife, but again: where were the bass?

I believe the cold air is behind us and we will start to recognize a much deserved warming trend (and for all the hunters on the forum, please shoot that damn groundhog).

With the warming trend comes warmer water, increased activity, and the real potential that these lakes/ponds offer. You are learning on the go and when the fish turn on, you will nail them.


If it were easy, they'd call it catching!

Considering your proximity, you should be the first to know!

You should throw a thermometer out there and then test the water temp every few days and post it. It would be a good learning vehicle for everybody.

I have a thermometer and I will rig something up today. Can't promise daily reading but others can come by to check. It will be visible (under a bobber).
