Day started a little shaky when I zoned.  Wanted to get on the 15 and realized my mistake in Purserville.  Good thing I knew the back roads around Mt Weather and was able to hook up with Leon right at the time we planned.  Hope I didn't pass any speed cameras!

Hit the water at around 0730 and was instantly rewarded with a flock of turkeys in one field.  I counted about 8 of them including a strutting Tom.  Then across the river Momma deer was playing with her Bambi deer.  Cute.

Was a beautiful day to be on the water.  Day started with sprinkles, and the weather was comfortable and ended up being hot by the end of the float when the clouds all cleared



Fish were active.  Senko's turned out to be the most productive bait.  I'll let Leon talk about the bait he used to catch the the biggest fish.

Got into one hole where I got 3 fish to lip and two I saw jumping and became unbuttoned right at the boat.

All the fish we caught were over 14" and healthy.
