I have been monitoring the carp for the month of August from the shore as I have several boat charters for them coming up. They have moved out of pads for the most part and are starting school up in the middle of the creeks more. I think since the grass is so thick in the pads they are moving more to the center of the creeks. On July 30th I fished for three hours and got two. On August 6th I fished for four hours and got two again. Today I fished for 4 hours and got 6. Things are looking up for the last half of August. Here are some pics.

Hmmm…care to expand how to cook these? I’ve heard fish cakes and smoking them on a seasoned plank. Then you just eat the plank!

Lotsa ways to cook them.
Asian's have perfected the art with hot chili oil and garlic
But then again anything tastes good in hot chili oil and garlic

Was out hiking this morning and came across a feeder pond full of carp slurping bugs and cruising the top water with their fins out. The water was almost boiling with all the activity
Your hunting carp made me think that a fly rod and a can of corn would be a blast
