August 10th Report

Tonight's trip was a last minute one and I am darn glad I said yes. Lad was from Ireland, in town on business and had a free day. He had fished for trout and pike in Ireland so I guess snakehead would not be a hard thing for him. After some instruction he said " So you want me cast deep in the pads and reel it out? " I said yes . He shook his head and said "that is not how we fish". After 8 missed fish he connected. Later we both missed many more. At golden hour I think the LGMouth went on vacation. We caught one at dark. Great night it was.
