A couple of weeks back, I needed to take my boat down to Jim Starkey for some minor electrical work. Yes, most likely I could have fixed it myself but I could also have screwed it up! Those 50-50 odds are not good...

Generally, when I schedule a trip down I try to make it on a Thursday or Friday so that I can stop at Smokin' Billy's BBQ for some brisket.

They way it worked out, I needed to go on an off day and knowing that George wanted to have his small outboard motor worked on, he jumped at the chance to come with me.

Lunch that day was at East of Maui in Orange VA which makes a mean smashburger. And their coffee is goooooood!

On my trips down, I have always noticed a food truck, at an Exxon station in Orange, called Reyna's Tacos.

So, George called me and said that his motor was ready so I went with him today and picked it up. After the customary one hour chit chat with Jim, we came back with a goal at stopping at Reyna's for lunch.



Oh man...was it good!



We both had the Lawyer's Tacos. One was steak w/ onions and green peppers and the other two were shrimp w/ onions and orange peppers. They both had cheese and came with a nice green sauce.

They were messy as all get out but they were outstanding!

This place is a gem!
