August 21st Report

Day started like in the old days when I used to supply ribs and chicken. Request for them had them on the table at 3pm. Not the same as they used to be but still good. Light sprinkle and rain projected to get heavy later we launched with an eye to the sky. But the heavy stuff never happened. Fished the toads hard and fast with at least a dozen good hits. First time takes a while to figure out the hookset. Went to spot that has been long neglected and boy did we find snakehead. 6 misses before he finally scored. I would say we had about 18 hits and 17 misses. Evening ended early & cigars where smoked. A truly great trip.
