Started out the year at Cedar lake one morning while in Ashburn. Lakes were pretty much frozen and no bites. Fishing an open hole at Ernie's.
January was mostly a crappie month. Neighbor Scott.

While fishing down lake, the wife called me back to the house were birds were working.....got two up to 27"
February started out well.

March continued with a good striper bite
And crappie bite...........
And then the new LKA hybrid record.
11.00 lbs on certified scales
Striper bite continued in April
As did the crappie

Ernie came down for 2 days and did well.

December started with true pigs
It was a great year with plenty of guests on my boat catching plenty of fish.

Yep…the guy told me that the prices were so high because it was so difficult to catch rockfish.
