My original plans for the weekend were to go stay at my dad's other house in Ocean Pines and fish in the Ocean City area. He had a built a few years and I still haven't been to it. But the wind forecast changed those plans. I hadn't been on the river in a while so I decided to launch from the ramp at the mouth of the Monocacy. The water on the MD side was dirty and I started working my way down the river on the VA side.
It wasn't long before I got the first hook up. My Bomber A got slammed and at first I thought it might be a cat or carp.
It was the biggest smallie I've caught in a long time.
17.5"
It had a crayfish in its throat.
2nd fish
3rd fish
Last one
Slow day but at least I had one good one. All caught on the Bomber A.

Nice that you got a few!
Is that ramp worthy of being able to launch a jet boat?

The ramp is very steep and water was quite shallow at the current flow level. You're probably better off launching at POR in bigger, faster boats.
