LKA Crappie 8-26

So my neighbor's grandson told him that he wanted Mr. John to take him out fishing today......because, "Mr. John always catches fish".  The striper bite has been off the past few days due to the heat, so I decided to take them crappie fishing with minnows.   25 minute boat ride to go get minnows ( 3 doz) a little after 12:30 pm.  It was hot!  Decided to scout the 208 bridge for the crappie since it had depths of 15-50 FOW.  Found the crappie in 30 FOW and suspended at 25 in the shade of the bridge.  Set two rods with slip bobbers at 25.  It was game on!  Over the next 90 minutes, we landed over 30 crappie that were 11+" and very healthy.  All were returned to be caught again.  A couple pics of Jacob and his fish............
