Sorry, no speedo's or thongs spotted on the trip
Played hooky yesterday again and did a nice kayak float. Day was real nice, clear-ish skies, and the heat didn't kick in until afternoon.
Fishing was slow. Real slow. We saw plenty of nice smallies but they were not having it.
We also saw our share of bald eagles, osprey and even a flock of turkeys on the drive home
Floated with my Canadian fishing buddy
We managed to catch a few despite the fact they weren't biting. Much
Had some fun on the fast water
And found something on leaves I've never seen before. Anyone have any clues? I'm assuming some bug's or spider nests?
You could see the haze from the CA, OR, and CO fires. Very similar to smog in the LA Basin.

One more of me taking pix of the rapids

The dude in the speedo's?
LoL - that was pretty scary I was riding my bike, just coming out from behind a truck setting up his boat by the ramp, look up, and he's bending over to pick up his paddle board. I almost shouted "Get out of my hole!"
