Mattawomen 6-2-21
Had an all code trip last evening. Wind was not kind to us. Water temps 74 and we found some clear water and few hits. But the old trout lift hookset let them all escape.
After the miss I would say what went wrong? It is hard to learn the strip set.. Guys had a blast regardless of no fish landed.

Ha! My trout guide a few weeks back had to keep reminding me to stop using the strip set. I learned to fly fish on the salty water. Hard to break habits.
Time to go fishin' again!
