No wind and nice warm temps with pretty clear water would the making of a fantastic day of catching. Well some one forgot to tell the fish to bite. We ran from place to place and fished a lot of normally productive water. Caught some small ones and few catfish as always. But in the last 30 minutes of the day the drop shot gave us a nice one and it made the day.

With yesterday still on my mind I decided to change the rule of thumb. Normally we run with the tide and today I ran against the tide. First spot and we catch some nice chunks and a convict bass. Next spot more of the same and a catfish.. Never miss out on that catfish bite... We went into the spoils and found art on top of the old WW Bridge .

About 8 of them on the breakwater. Anyone know if there is a meaning. It is art BTW.

I forgot my stogie and Brandon gave me one of his..very good cigar. Thanks.

Caught a few more nice chunky bass and called it a day.
