3-6-21 Another LKA Citation Crappie for Benjamin

Pretty chilly when we got out on the water at 9 am.  Fished for 2.5 hrs and had difficulty finding fish that would eat.  Water is still very stained and 45 degrees.  First fish was this 15" crappie that weighed 1.97 lbs.  We managed only 2 more small fish.  Gusty winds made it very difficult.

Lots of crappie boats out there this morning but no one was having much luck.  Might go back out at 2 pm this afternoon.

Moments your grandson will remember for ever.  Grandfathering is the best.   Have you explained to him that it's never too early to start saving for fishing gear and maybe a boat with a truck to tow it?  And maybe a second home near the water with a dock and a lift?
