May 28th Report

Day 2 on the main river. Hit many spots and found a few on crank baits and few on plastic worm. Only one male that was ready for the spawn. Also a female with no sign of spawn and no eggs. Very odd how they never moved in to spawn. Maybe I missed them by a month. Now they seem to be everywhere in the water from 4 feet to 18 feet and not biting. Got to fish a bit myself and try to discover the pattern. It was fun filled trip. Not as many fish as I would like but still fun. On the last spot we found a fishing rod floating in the water. It was made by Frankenstein for sure as it had about three or four rods put together to make one.

Found it in the parking lot next day as they left it behind. Maybe it was too ugly.

Re: May 28th Report

Apparently not a keeper as it is still there as of yesterday. It was made from 4 different rods..
