5-4 LKA Striper Fishing

The wife decided to get up with me to go fishing early.  Lines in the water by sunrise.  We had a small window before the wind was predicted to get up.  We had 3 bites.  One was a 13" crappie that was released.  One striper got off, but the other was hooked well.  Ellen with her keeper..........

Wind picked up at 9 am and ran us off the water.

Taking advantage of the opportunity!! That sled is always ready to go, nice that's it's right on the water!

I went out for a few minutes with the fly rod and the wind just kept coming. Too much! Water is more stained at cedar.

Time to go fishin' again!

Good times! Blue skies and blue water, looks really nice.

Together we'll fight the long defeat.
