Now is the time to get your hands dirty and put in that garden you always talked about. It is great for the body and mind BTW.
Half of mine is planted and we have about 100 sprouts to add to our small garden. This year we have:
Sunflowers for birds
Two types of tomato
Eight types of basil
Yellow squash
Zucchini
Two types of lettuce
Got a bunch of flowers seeded for hanging baskets and for our flower beds.
This year we decided not to buy plants at Lowes or Homeless Depot and just seeded ours in these cheap 74 cell planters. They are doing well with the sprouting and can be reused as the summer approaches.
Stay safe

Hey Mike! We just moved into our new home right before winter, so we've been busy settling. Part of that is a garden plot, but I was too late to order plants/seeds. But, I'm on a bit more land now...so I just purchased a tractor with front loader and backhoe (it was a good deal I decided to take) and will be setting up a garden soon. Pictures to come! And, yes....my favorite part of the day is going out to weed, prune, picking vegetables, etc..

Agree that is a big piece of equipment..
early enough for strawberries and many other fall veggies.
I once tried asparagus and planted a long row of them. Each spring my plants would sprout and I would harvest about 5 stalks..decided the amount of ground required was not worth it. Cucumbers went in next year.
