Got a dusting of snow last night. Surprised the LCPS did not have a 2 hr delay as usual for practically nothing. Extended forecast looks like we may have a few snow prediction threads this winter?

Although I did not like the salted roads because I feel obligated to clean my Jeep now, when I drove to work at 4:45 am, the salt was needed on Wiehle. Temps in the low 30's and slick as hell. Saw cars sliding on the bridge over the toll road.

light rain here this morning and not freezing to anything as predicted. LCPS closed before the first drop fell.

The only good thing is that the river level is going up...much needed.

There was a big storm rumored, but with temps in the mid-50s found it hard to believe

This morning I saw plow/salt truck sitting in the median of Rt7 at Ashburn Village.

VA is over-reacting because they screwed up with that giant pile up before Christmas.
