Couldn't get the bay boat down for cobia this weekend so I took out my little aluminum rig for specks. I was on the water just before 6am.
Not much of a topwater bite happening, I think because the water was dirty, so I switched up lures repeatedly and eventually found a Zoom fluke jr under a popping cork was the way to go. I caught around 20 on that, anywhere from dink size to 20+". Couple dink stripers too. They were spitting up little minnows everywhere so I think that small bait was key.
This was the last pic taken on my phone a couple seconds before it fell to the bottom of the Chesapeake, somehow it still saved to the cloud lol.
