Looks like the crest at Little Falls has been down graded to 10.3. That's good news for Riverbend.

Where will all of the striper, shad, herring and white perch eggs end up? High price to pay for some green grass, the whole spawn is probably a washout.
Nesting fish might be OK since they have already hatched most of the brood. Free floating spawners like shad and striped whiskerless catfish might be in trouble. But once again they did there thing earlier than normal this year.
Smallmouth will have issues.

POR is now to crest at 18/8' which is minor flood stage. Much better than moderate or major.
Maybe we will get to fish by the end of next week.....

There were actually tournaments this weekend out of Leesylvania. I thought for sure everything would be canceled, but it must not have been too bad down there.

Well, to say this has been an unusual weather year is an understatement.

Current POR gauge is showing higher than the predicted 14ft at 10pm. Currently at 16ft. There are some islands just above the American Legion bridge I watch to judge the flow. They're already gone. The early June rains took longer to cover them.

Went from 5' to 16' in 24 hours! huge spike in flow....

I am interested in the level after our next storm...
