I headed over to Cedar yesterday to check out the blue waters and possibly catch some fish. I saw some blue water, but didn't catch any fish. I ran into Curly and Ernie who were focused on Crappie and Bluegill.
I decided to try my luck over at Beech and found a bit more activity. I landed two fish about 15 minutes apart with the largest going about 13.75 in. (since that is our new method of measurement and my scale batteries died).
The bite was a more active there than at Cedar. It could have been the time of day, but I like to think that all the bass are tired and sore from the excellent fishing catching had during the tournament!
I agree that the tourney may have put the fish down, especially at Cedar where there was more fishing.
The good thing at Cedar is the amount of YOY. While Josh and I were dispersing the dye bombs that Curly was throwing, we saw tons of black tailed fingerlings!
Now....where are all the big ones?
