Chompin' on the Craw

Slept in and decided to go out on the Upper Potomac around noon.  I headed to my local stretch and it was beautiful out!  I threw everything from jig n' grub to swimbaits to spinnerbaits, but the smallies wanted the Rebel Craw.  I lost a decent one and then got the skunk out with this 14"er.

The action was not fast and furious, but it was pretty consistent working the shoreline.  Here is a chunky 14.5"er.

And my biggest was 15.5", with a belly.

Then it slowed a bit, but this 14" broadside hit really hard.

I ended up catching 7 and losing 2.  All fish were healthy and between 12-15.5".
Great day to be on the water.  Temps in the 70's with Southerly winds around 7mph.  Saw deer, woodchuck, pileated woodpecker and lots of birds.
