I went to cedar lake yesterday morning from 6-9 got nothing on my jig. So I gave the lake another shot today with the jig. Was there from 7:30pm to 8:30pm. I cast it out and right when it falls I got a bite. She was big would have been my personal best for sure. I reeled it in to the bank. As I was reaching down to grab her my line broke and she swam away before I could grab her mouth. Was a 3lb+ bass. I am still crying now as we speak. So you know who is going to the store tomorrow and buying a new jig and bigger line this guy!

what line were you using? i always check my line and knots after every few casts cause you never know when the 'one' will hit.
