Group Trip Report April 24th

Today Capt Dave and I had a two boat trip for crappie. The 8 person group was from DCMSSA and the weather was nice and the winds where mild. But the fishing was tough and we had to move around a lot to cover the many fishing spots available. Caught a gar again today, it spit the hook right at the boat. Several different kinds of cats where also caught today. The first bite was a nice green trout proudly displayed by this young man.

Both boats had fun on a nice day..and that is really what fishing is all about..

We will have to do this again next year so they can really see a good crappie bite, on the mighty Potomac.
