Lake Fairfax Park Trout Season Opens

Lake Fairfax Park has been running a Fall/Winter Trout Program for a number of years. This year's program starts on October 10th and runs through November 8th. The initial stocking of two, put 1,000# of Rainbow Trout in the lake. The trout are at least 12" long, but most are in the 14-16 inch range.
The public is invited to fish for these trout for a fee. For those residents of Western Fairfax and Loudoun Counties, this is as good as it gets.

Lake Fairfax Park is located at: 1400 Lake Fairfax Drive, Reston, VA (Just off Route 606, Baron Cameron Drive, two blocks from Route 7)

More information is available at: http://www.fairfaxcounty.gov/parks/lake … -flyer.pdf

This program has been very successful in the past and Park Manager Dan Grulke hopes it will be just as successful this year.
