May 2nd Report Capt Dave
Terry contacted Indian Head Charters and wanted a trip with his sons before he deployed. His sons Cooper and Sam are ages 6 and 3. I first thought...6 and 3 huh?. .. We had a blast catching crappie. It wasn't mid April pace but, we pretty steadily caught fish. Some still dressed for the wedding. A real nice green fish was caught as well, Terry's biggest ever. After the first crappie didn't go in the cooler (they had decided the boys wouldn't eat the fish so...) I kept a few for the table and the IHC photo op. We threw back at least a dozen. Little Sam got tired just before noon and we packed up to "go fast again" back to the marina. Terry wanted a memory with his sons, I am privileged to have been a part of it. Be safe out there Terry. Those are lucky boys to have a father like that. Glad you got to give them some good memories to hold on to while he is overseas.
