April 19th Double Report

With winds shifting North then East and back several times it was constant work keeping the boat in the right places. I would untangle a line and look up 30 yards away. But we picked at them for good while. Sun came out and the bite turned on for 10 minutes. Mostly all males in tuxedos and one female. Lots of very small yellow perch and a few cats.

Capt Mike

The two old men re-living their childhood. (Norm's words, not mine)  Both Mike and Norm had fished with cane poles in their youth and  got to experience again today.  I was happy to be part of it.
The fishing wasn't brisk and the bites didn't come in a flurry but,  we caught fish.  Six nice channel cats today plus one nice large mouth  and of course big,  beautiful slabs.  Thanks Mike and Norm..
