Cold, Wet, Windy April 14th Report Capt Dave

As encouragement this morning,  Capt Mike emailed me Elvis Presley' s Kentucky Rain...

When I woke up this morning,  winds were predicted at an average of 4-5 MPH in no particular direction.  By the time we were three hours from launch,  10 MPH.  By the time we set up our twelve rod spread,  the wind was blowing pretty darn good out of the NW steady for the next four hours.  I thought about getting out of it but,  the fish were biting, and biting and biting.  When one of the crew got cold,  I gave him my extra sweatshirt and we hid from the wind.  Sixteen more fish in the next half hour and we put away rods as we ran out of bait.  At the end,  they were biting dead shiners...

Worth every rain drop...
