I'll be going to FL in a few weeks and I plan on bringing a light 6' two price rod, but it doesn't fit in my luggage. Any suggestions of a case I can use to take it on the plane or check it?

PVC pipe if you want to keep it cheap.

I have carried on a 2 pc rod in the past...they easily fit in the overhead compartment.

I have a 4pc baitcaster you can take if you want to borrow it.

I was going to bring my 2 piece 6' light rod on the plane, figuring after breaking it down it would be the size of a cane. But my coworker actually has a 4 piece spinning medium rod, so I'll be using that. Yay! I like fishing light rods, but hopefully the medium will come in handy when(if) I hook into those big FL bass!!
