Welcome Aboard!

For three years running, we have fished with Capt. Dennis on this date. For three years running, we have caught many fish on this same date.
But today, it was over the top!
Jeff, Bob, Greg and I got to the boat at 1:15p as the AM was not fishable.
Weather was rough and rotten....cold, windy, and rainy. But the fish don't care! And....we were all happy to be there and get some fishin' in!
Jeff hooked up immediately but he had a big fish on so Greg got to bring the 1st one in!
Bob was hooked up as well so pandemonium set in. Then I got slammed but I broke it off trying to horse it in....the big one got away from me....but not from Jeff!
No clue whose this one was.....
Then Bob is hooked up again...this time with a big one!
Come on Bob...show some emotion!!
Now Greg gets a slob!
The arsenal of choice!
The rest was a blur.....the rain stopped and all we did was catch fish!
Walleye Pete's crew.....
Didn't know these were being taken....
If I had taken a picture of every quality fish we caught....I would have run the battery down!
Hmmmm...wonder if there are any fish below us?
This was a special day...one not to be forgotten.
Many thanks to Capt. Dennis for working with us and I am hoping his striper hands heal soon.
The last couple of hours were a little slower and things calmed down so we called it a night at 7 and went on in.
But it was not over yet. We all decided to eat at Mama Lucias and had a great meal and lots of conversation about our expedition!
Great crew...great fishing....great day!

Ernie,
Wow...impressive. I've got the same trip scheduled for Monday with Captain Dennis. I hope you left us some fish.

What an amazing day. The pics don't capture how nasty it was when we started. When we got in certain spots the waves were almost washing INTO the boat. I know because Ernie sent me to the front of the boat to deal with the roller coaster ride (Ernie didn't buy the super duper knee replacements that handle this kind of ride). We were all battered and bruised from the weather and fighting so many big fish, but I couldn't stop smiling the whole day!!! On the first set of casts we ended up with a quadruple header that consisted of two 40s, a 35, and Ernie's big mystery fish that broke off. That is an incredible thing! I can't wait for next year!

Hi Ernie,
Carl & I did the same trip on Sun. 10 boats there. Temp was 32 when we left the dock. That pilot house ROCKS !
We saw a 46" caught next to us and alot of other fish boated around us . We got one about 26- 28, then they ALL turned off. ( high tide) We stayed for a total of 90 minutes .Left at noon to head back to Marina.

Yes...it was good. I'll try to get some photos together and post a separate report later today; would have posted already but my arms are tired from LEP (landing excessive poundage)....Bruce

The Pilot House is nice no doubt - but everyone is crowded into the rear of that boat and fishing between grasshopper legs on the back of the boat:)
Pete is a great captain and we have a good relationship. No harm intended.
Well Ernie, if I didn't read this I would not have known you wanted the 25h!

Lee was on Carl's Brown's big Everglades on Sunday...the "Something Else". You probably saw them.....and I did tell them to shut their engines down while drifting!
