Pacemaker Fishing Forum

Today, Jeff, Tyler and Bob joined me to fish "the other side" with Capt. Dennis Fleming. We met at the Solomons ramp at 0615 and off we went!



As we headed out of te Pax, we made a few stops and Tyler was able to take teh skunk off the boat (on top water)!



The weather was perfect but there were some clouds that concerned us....



....thankfully, they moved away!

We made it to the other side and the guys were plucking a fish here and there. Apparently, it was my day to simply watch!

Finally we were able to score a double!



Unfortunately, the N wind kicked up and dirtied up the water. We did see a speck or two but we never caught one.

On one of our final drifts, Bob was throwing a 4" plastic bait and he landed a nice 10" white perch!



While we didn't score like we wanted to, we are glad we went over as it is a great area to fish...NO one around!

On the way back, we made a few stops on the milk run but no love was shown. But I did get to take my skunk off with this guy!



Then I spotted an area that Mo and Carl used to love to catch perch on and  declared the perch were there. Tyler proved me right as he quickly caught 3-4 perchies before we had to head back.
