John and I got to fish for a couple of hours out of Algonkian late this afternoon.



John had one on a crankbait but it came unbuttoned. That was 1 of maybe 3 bites for us...very weird. The barometer was dropping, it was raining at times, there was some wind. You would think the smallies would be active.

But we didn't stray far from the ramp as we watched the radar. We did get wet but somehow, we avoided getting soaked as we fished in a dry slot for a bit.

We'll take the 2 hour skunk over not going....anytime!
