More Lake Lanier Stripers-Night Fishing + pics

Met up with a local angler I had been PMing with on a GA fishing forum.  He basically just night fishes for stripers and has become sort of a local legend on that lake for that type of fishing......but not a guide......just a good 'ole boy in GA.  Met him at the ramp at 7pm and off we went in his 16' Tracker.  Lake runs to 130+ feet deep.  We fished shoals, humps, and points dropping to 25 feet with weighted flukes and redfins. We caught 3 stripers and probably a dozen pesky spotted bass. Best 5 bass were in the 17-18 lb range with a 5 lb big fish. Stripers were 12 & 14 lbs with a runt to go with them.

Are you even going to bother coming home? With that kind of fishing a tent could make a good retirement home.
