Need some Help - Daytona Beach

Headed to Daytona Beach day after New Year's Day with my mom (first time snow bird) to keep her company on the drive and spend some quality time. Never been before. Figure a good idea to bring along a travel rod and a couple lures. Appreciate any intel on local spots or recommendations on guides.

Re: Need some Help - Daytona Beach

Found some help via the Google machine, Eric Greenstein. His kayak guiding caught my attention. But, for $25 more his January catch & release promo via his flats boat was a better deal, better range, etc...

Found some nice redfish including a new personal best @ 31" :-)

Re: Need some Help - Daytona Beach

Thanks guys. Yes, a very pretty fish. Ya know, I grew up in the Northeast fishing for stripers and they've always been my favorite. However, pound for pound, inch for inch these reds are way more powerful. I may have to switch allegiances if the red population continues in the bay!
