Did a quick solo morning trip yesterday down to Cuckold creek in the lower Patuxent river. It was plenty windy as forecast but comfortable enough in the river. I started out flipping beetle spins and road runners to docks but no takers and after an hour or so, went and anchored up on the shell bottom near the mouth of Cuckold creek. Put a couple of rods over with shrimp and FishBite blood worms. Nothing to write home about but had a steady enough pick of small to reasonable white perch and a handful of undersize croaker. Also got busted up by a number of cow nose rays which were thick at times on the sounder. Hit the road around 11am but kept 4 10" perch for dinner tonight.

Mo went out yesterday out of Deale and scratched out some shallow water WP as well. It's begining to look a lot like summer now....
Thanks for the report!
