This is only for bragging rights..............Best bass by weight and Crappie and Bluegill by length. I will keep track of best AV and non-AV bass and top 5 bass for AV......as well as the crappie and bluegill entries. You must have a photo of the bass/crappie/bluegill on scales or ruler for consideration in the rankings. IF you do not have a weight for the bass, I will use the length photo and the conversion factor at http://www.pacemakerfishing.com/forum/v … php?id=978 to calculate the weight. You must post pics in the appropiate thread. Bluegill entries this year added at Ernie's request!
I will keep/update the running totals for each fish division here.

I'll have to make a couple of trips up to NoVa to wet a line and see what I can muster.
Perhaps there can be a separate category for "on the fly"?

Wow! 108 views in only one day! Must be a lot of interest in this thread. Let's see if we get the same interest in posting fishing results?

uh, not to be small, but if we are going to allow live bait, well...

I think I'm the only one with scales that read pounds and ounces, so I'll make the weights in the thread pounds to the nearest 0.01 lbs..........it's easy to convert ounces into pounds.......divide the ounces by 16.
Example
5 lbs 7 oz = 5 + (7 divided by 16) = 5.43 lbs
And yeah..........live bait allowed this year...........but most all of us fish artificials.

Just to make the rules clear on Bass Weights........
You can take a pic on the scales or a ruler. If you do not have scales, the length conversion will be used. If you have scales and ruler, a pic of either will do and you can use you scale weight + ruler pic.
Pics of fish on scales do not always turn out well........why I perfer a quick weight on the scales, and then a pic on the Hawg Trough .
A pic without scales or ruler + a posted weight goes to the Honorable Mention section.

I suspect that we will have some nice catches (BG and LMB) this Saturday (4/27) for the HS Tourney. I will remind the participants to get pictures if at all possible.

Got another 12.5" crappie yesterday. This time from Ashburn. Later in the evening there was a feeding frenzy. I was even getting doubles trolling two different small white crankbaits. Must've caught about a dozen in the 9-10" range and a bunch more came undone. No idea was was up with that spot since there was no submerged structure.
