Riverbend

Still unemployed :-( so decided to step away from Dice, the Ladders, Monster, et all today and check out Riverbend via kayak. My second visit this year and the smallies were cooperative on green pumpkin tube lures. In 2 hours landed 8 12-16". Missed several others. Of course, bigger ones!

Sorry, no pics of the fish. Left the cell phone in the truck. When I got back to the ramp saw a water snake swimming in with a 6-7" channel catfish. Didn't think he could eat it considering their spikes but he did! Got a so-so pic of that.

If you weren't aware, Riverbend offers a season pass for launching @ $40. Only went a couple times last year and didn't see that. I don't remember a pass being available in the past, either.
