OK...that's out of the way!

Tyler, Greg and I put in at Pohick....we were the only ones there.

We fished the main stem but could never find anything greater than 43 degrees. We then went in to Pomonkey and found some nice structure....

....and 45 degree water.

Then we headed back across and marked a ton of fish in 20-40 water.

Then we went back to Pohick Bay where we found 6-7 boats....

....doing the same thing we were doing. Catching NOTHING!

Nice out and would rather do that than not go.....

I know that tree.. good smallmouth spot 20 yards behind you..
Dave and I got a dozen or so there one cold day last year.

As always, a day out with Ernie is a great day even if you don't catch fish.....but still better if we hadn't gotten skunked!!! Based on Ernie's Saturday stripers report, it looks like he was saving all his luck for Saturday.
