No way I'm taking the boat out on the river in those winds. Will probably get a little fishing in on the ponds in some spots sheltered from the wind.

I was going to try one more time this year but that is looking ominous as it looks like we have a storm coming in after Christmas.
And Bruce, go have fun in the stores. I would rather hear fingernails scratching a chalkboard than wonder into a store today.....

I have no problems fishing in any conditions as long as the water's not hard (ice).
But this weekend is for family. Putting up the tree, shopping, painting the kid's room.

i just went out on the pavilion for 30 mins got 2 dinks... the cold and wind was terrible 30 mins was pushing my limits. at least i got some pull.

i went to a new pond, caught a 12 and a 14"
wind was harsh
i refused to be skunked and finally got two off the same laydown
