Lake Mercer 8-11-12

Myself, Ryan Ingalls, and Joe Wilkerson from the CNU team all met up at Lake Mercer today.  We all managed some fish today, but nothing of great size.  My largest was 17".  He was on a lipless crank.  I caught all my other fish on a carolina rigged D-Bomb and a missle craw in darker colors as the water was very dark.  They had most of their luck with a shakey head with a trick worm in the flats.

It was cool to put the Lowrance to use.  Everywhere else I have been with it I pretty much knew the depths and contours from many times of fishing it.  But it was cool to find some good dropoffs and ledges here with it.
